Rhythm and Rhyme hires professional, nurturing and dedicated staff to ensure your child receives the attention and care as if they were the only child here. Our teachers are fundamental in assisting the children in their education through hands on, child focused activities.
Our head teachers come from diverse backgrounds that provide so many educational experiences for the children. All staff members must abide by NY State regulations to provide fingerprints, child abuse clearance and personal reference checks. In addition, they have a three month probationary period.
We also stress the importance and the NYS requirements for ongoing training. Each staff member must complete 30 hours of training in early childhood every two years. Ongoing training provides refresher courses and new information in the field of Early Childhood.
Our registered nurse is present every day. Nurse Sue, along with staff members are First aid and CPR trained, and we have several teachers that have taken Medication training.
Education, fun and love of learning are goals we all strive for.
